Dieci: The Ron Francis Project - Game/Practice Used Equipment

This tier last gained strength on July 21st, 2007.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Ron Francis Game-Used Skates - Used in a few games during either the 1995-96, 1996-97, or 1997-98 season (based on various action photos). Both skates show significant use inside and out, and also feature a "10" written by an equipment manager on the plastic bottom near the blade. Made by Bauer, with Tuuk Plus blades. License of Authenticity, originally from Milton Byron, is coming soon. As per a deal made with the skates' seller AND a tradition I have been trying to start in my collecting, at least ten dollars of the price I paid for these skates was to go to a charity.  * - Latest addition!

Carolina Hurricanes

Ron Francis Game-Used and Autographed Stick - Used in a game during the 1998-99 season, as indicated by the #21 written in marker on the red taped handle. Autographed on the bare wood next to the blade area. Made by Franklin. Originally won at a Carolina Hurricanes Kids 'N Community Foundation silent auction. Acquired through an E-Bay auction by yours truly, with the money going to a then recently unemployed person.

Ron Francis Practice-Used Gloves - Used in a Carolina Hurricanes practice during the 2002-03 season. Originally bought at a Carolina Hurricanes equipment cleanout sale. Acquired through a trade with Goalie33 @ LetsGoCanes.com for a Florida Everblades used stick and some goaltender trading cards.
